Welcome to the three- day elearning workshop for CDU staff. This workshop is a DSA funded opportunity and is designed to help staff identify through a series of hands on sessions and mapping exercises how to redhape their current pedagogy to meet a more student centred learning approach.

Note: All participants are to complete before attending the VARK test please bring this with you ! If you are from Exercise Sport & Science click here..
The particpant will also need to bring:
  1. A Unit Outline that you intend to teach in 2010 S1 with known graduate attributes. ( preferably a subject that is particularly challenging to staff, or one that is not working well with today's learners and or has a high attrition rate)
  2. A charged mobile phone with at least 0.70 cents credit on it and contact name called CDU
  3. Their creativity

About your presenter

I am currently on secondment as the National eLearning Coordinator for Faculty Health Sciences for Australian Catholic University. As a qualified Biomedical Scientist and educationalist extraordinaire I have been afforded some challenging projects in Vocational Education and Training (VET)and higher education especially in field of Health Sciences. I am currently studying for my 'Master's in Circumpolar Health and Wellbeing' (MCH) which is a flexibly delivered F2F/ online postgraduate Master's Program at the Centre of Arctic Medicine, Oulu University Finland.
