Session Plan - Introduction to Web 2.0 Technologies
This session will provide an overview of a range of Web 2.0 technologies which can be used for learning and teaching. It will also cover the web 2.0 technology platform avaibale ofr teacher to use as part of their teaching and learning strategy.


Session Outcomes


The purpose of this session is to provide participants with an overview of useful tools, as well as examining examples of how these tools can be used in teaching and learning.

Learning Outcomes

During this session, participants will:
  • Gain and understanding of Web 2.0 technologies and the read/write web
  • Develop an understanding of how Web 2.0 technologies can be utilised for teaching and learning
  • Gain an overview of the web 2.0 platforms available to staff @ CDU
  • Gain experience in using web-based applications to publish and share content
  • Gain an understanding of a range of content licensing systems including Creative Commons.
